Joan Moran
dolfcu
washington dc

Joan M. Moran wasn’t looking for a job, and didn’t know what a credit union was, when a neighbor referred her to a position at U.S. Customs FCU in April of 1995. Now, more than 20 years later,  Moran is CEO of DOLFCU, a title she’s held since 1999. rkGoBig founding Board of Directors member.

Brian Vittek
Destinations CU
Baltimore MD

One of the stalwarts against small credit unions merging in, Brian brings knowledge of the credit union movement born of his 3 decades of work.  As CEO of Destinations Credit Union, his skills as a credit union leader are matched only by the heart with which he approaches the work.  We rely on his smarts, hope, hard work and spirit.rkGoBig founding Board of Directors member.

vin Cerasuolo
Century Heritage FCU pittsburgh pa

Vin brings the “220-221, whatever it takes” school of leadership to Century Heritage, what he hopes is his final stop in a nearly 40-year CU career.  He arrived in Pittsburgh in 1998 by way of Boston and Atlanta.  Vin brings the humor to the work.  "Life in the federal witness protection program can be tough." rkGoBig founding Board of Directors member.

Kent Hartzler
Everence FCU
Lancaster pa

Perhaps younger, but more seasoned than he appears (and acts at times), Kent is entering his 20th year at Everence. He has served as CEO since 2007 with prior gigs in marketing, lending, and business development. "Hey friends, grab your toys and meet us at the sandbox…let’s change the world and have some fun doing it."  rkGoBig founding Board of Directors member.

Jim McCaw
Viriva Community CU
Warminster PA

Jim is our Philly guy.  As CEO of Viriva Community Credit Union, Jim brings his lawyer-like mind and a Philly scrappiness to our group.  Grounded in a deep commitment to always serve the member, he is methodical in analysis.  We say that Jim was the last to "barge in" to our group and has lost not a single bit of that urgency.  He helps us all remember that we all need to make change.  By the way, Jim is tall and an rkGoBig founding Board of Directors member.

Mike Meier
SPE Federal Credit Union
State College PA

Michael J. Meier has been the President/CEO at SPE FCU since 2013 and employed with the credit union since 1995.  Prior to his current role, he served as Executive VP & CFO.  A community chartered credit union, SPE manages $85 million in member assets with operations in Centre and Huntingdon counties in central Pennsylvania – home of Penn State University.

Mike and his wife have 3 wonderful, adult (almost) daughters and are presently raising their second puppy for the Seeing Eye.  In addition to walks and family barbecues, he enjoys playing tennis, golf, racquetball and squash when time permits.

“I am from a large family (# 9 out of 10 children).  The large family was crazy, fun and helped shape me into who I am."

Mike is the first "second generation" CU CEO Council member to join our group and now an rkGoBig Board of Directors member.

Peter Barnard

With almost 18 years working inside the credit union movement, Peter began his career with a decade of work in the fine wine world.  Beginning in 2010, after work to start a CUSO centered on the HSA opportunity for CUs, Peter began work with Mid-Atlantic Corporate FCU (now Vizo) in October of 2010.  Seven years later, Peter says to all who choose to listen that he is doing the single most fulfilling work  of his career and proudly serves at the pleasure of the Board of Directors.  Peter lives among the mountains and lakes of New Hampshire.
